A fair. Rides. Games. Thrills. Laughter. Fun. Memories. Yeah freaking right!!!!!! Sorry pet I'm just not a people person and therefore I dislike fairs period. Perhaps in my younger years I may have found them mystifying and wonderful but now I can't stand them. So did I go? Yes, twice even but only to support family in pageants. I mostly went for my young niece who has hit that preteen stage and well can get a wee bit emotional at times. Poor kid she's my clone in every way possible. No she didn't win but I'm still proud of her for trying something new it's more than what I would have done at her age. Back to the fair. Why do people fancy them so? Is it merely for the younger generation who try too hard to act like adults? Is it the mere form of human socialization that people are losing due to technology yet long for it? Is it the lights the sounds the food? I just don't get what draws in such massive amounts of people to these things. Yet pet that's my personal feelings. Still something about when twilight hits and those lights come on and you suddenly find yourself swirling with neon lights all around, well it's enough to take your breath away. In that moment that one simple moment I was captivated by the sounds and the array of colored lights. It was quite beautiful in its own way like a whole different world had stolen me away. Yet the moment fades I return with a memory and a blog post hoping that it was my last fair. So my pet I bid thee farewell till the next post and if you get the chance go to the fair. Then take the time to remember when you were younger and what you felt during your trips to the fair. Enjoy it because memories can be precious things to have, so relive old ones, create new ones, and go to the fair.
